Rick Wertz joined Curry Real Estate Services in 1972 and serves as vice president in the multi-family division. In this position, he is responsible for the management of more than 1,000 apartment units throughout the metropolitan area as well as for two mini-storage facilities and a mobile home park.

Wertz is a licensed broker-officer in Missouri and received his certified property manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 1986. He has served on the board of directors of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® and is a past president for the local Kansas City chapter of IREM.

Wertz earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from William Jewel College in Kansas City, Mo. in 1972.

He has served in leadership positions in multiple civic organizations in the Liberty area and in his church community. Wertz and his wife, Libbie, reside in Liberty. They have four adult children and one grandson
